Kaspars Gorkšs, former Latvia captain and current participant of UEFA MIP II has been elected on Friday, 27 April 2018, new president of the Latvian Football Federation. He will serve a two-year term after his election at the LFF general assembly in Riga, succeeds Guntis Indriksons, who has stepped down after being at the helm of Latvian football since 1996.
